Parks and Recreation

Each year, the Town of New Hartford Parks & Recreation Department looks forward to park season. As the weather warms up, our fields, courts, trails, and playgrounds come alive with activity from residents of all ages. to maintaining and enhancing our parks so they continue to be welcoming, active and enjoyable spaces for the community. During spring, summer, and fall, our athletic fields serve as home to many of the programs that keep our youth active. Sherrillbrook and other Town facilities host New Hartford softball and Little League baseball, while our soccer fields welcome New Hartford AYSO players each season. Our football fields also serve as practice facilities for NH Pop Warner, helping support the many local organizations that make youth sports such an important part of our community.
