Climate Smart Communities program

Congratulations to the Town of New Hartford on adopting the Climate Smart Communities pledge on June 20, 2018! The town of New Hartford has joined a network of over 200 local governments representing nearly 7 million New Yorkers throughout the state who are working to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, adapt to a changing climate, and save taxpayer money.

Our community’s membership will be announced in the CSC program via the DEC’s Twitter account .

The Town of New Hartford now has been  officially registered  as a Climate Smart Community, and now the town is listed as a participating community
