The Town of New Hartford Highway Department works throughout the year to maintain and improve the roads, infrastructure and public spaces that serve our community.

New in 2026 under the Messa Administration, the Highway Department periodically provides a pictorial overview at Town Board meetings highlighting projects completed or underway throughout the Town. These updates are part of an ongoing effort to keep residents informed and provide a closer look at the wide range of work performed by our Highway crews, from road maintenance and drainage improvements to infrastructure projects, seasonal operations and other work taking place throughout the community.
